The distributor controlled its cold rooms with a thermometer and a notebook: when equipment failed at night they found out the next day with the goods already spoiled, and had no records to respond to audits or claims for thawed product.
We installed IoT temperature sensors in each room and the refrigerated truck, with a gateway over a dedicated network and power/4G backup. We configured per-zone ranges (frozen −18 °C, chilled 2–8 °C) and a platform that charts, stores history and alerts by phone when something leaves the range.
Now the cold chain watches itself 24/7: if a room warms up, the alert arrives immediately and action is taken before losing product. The continuous log backs HACCP audits and any claim, and management monitors everything from a phone.
