SimCodec was born from a simple idea: high-level technology —automation, modernization and artificial intelligence— should not be a luxury for the few. We are five partners with ten years of combined experience and projects inside and outside Ecuador, determined to do things differently.

// Our story

Before founding SimCodec, we sat on the other side of the counter: we were clients of the big technology firms. Too often we got half-finished results and excessive bills. That experience left us with one certainty: it could be done much better, and in a fairer way.

So five friends decided to start from scratch. We combined ten years of experience across software development, networking, structured cabling, video surveillance, industrial automation and artificial intelligence, and put it all toward a clear goal: bringing quality technology to whoever needs it.

We don’t want to be just another company. We want to be the alternative: new ways of seeing problems, work done right, and a moderate price that any SME, startup or company —new, mid-sized or large— can take on. Because we truly believe automation and AI can be available for everyone.
