The distributor ran three disconnected locations: each branch kept its own stock in spreadsheets and headquarters had no real-time view of sales. The equipment room cabling was improvised, with hard-to-diagnose intermittent failures, and one branch had no fiber access at a reasonable cost.
We designed a single VLAN-segmented network with perimeter security at headquarters, reorganized and certified the Cat 6A cabling in a tidy rack with power backup, deployed roaming Wi-Fi across all three sites and, for the branch without fiber, set up a 3.2 km point-to-point wireless link with clear line of sight. Everything was documented with as-built drawings.
The three sites now work as a single network: centralized real-time inventory and sales, stable Wi-Fi for staff and customers, and an owned link that removed the south branch's monthly fiber rental (payback in about ten months). The tidy, labeled equipment room cuts fault diagnosis from hours to minutes.
