Connected School Campus

High-density WiFi 6E with roaming, Cat 6A cabling, captive portal and failover for an entire school and its events.

01

The challenge

An institution with hundreds of simultaneous users —students, teachers, families and even an electoral precinct and sports events— on a saturated link (32 Mbps) and an unmaintained rack.

02

The solution

We deployed ~6 high-density WiFi 6E APs with roaming and Cat 6A cabling for switch-to-building links, so a single network covers the whole campus with no drops in calls or streams. For guests we added occupancy analytics, non-productive-site blocking and a captive portal with advertising that generates income for the institution. We reorganized and serviced the rack and added failover (fiber + Starlink).

03

The result

The link went from 32 Mbps to nearly 400 Mbps, with full coverage and seamless roaming. We added free equipment maintenance and cybersecurity training for teachers, students and families.
